Red is a strong and powerful color in my opinion. It is a very emotionally intense color. Red can create physical perceptions of speed, heat and even weight – red can be perceived as heavier in its purest form.
The color red can be a warm and positive color. Red is energizing. It make us excited and motivated. It is associated with power , leadership and strength. It can also gets our attention and helps us to focus. It is the color of sexuality, passion and love. It is often used to express love as in Valentine’s Day. The color red in Eastern cultures is a symbol of good luck and purity.
Red is a powerful color. It can stimulate your metabolism, heart rate, blood pressure and breathing. Did you know the color red can make you hungry? It can also make you a little moody and irritated. Red can symbolize the passion and spiciness of a person.
Red can bring background words or images to the foreground. It can stimulated people to make quick decisions. Red is widely used to indicate danger.
Too much red can cause us to be angry, agitated and aggressive. Red is often used in symbols of war or battles. In fiction, legends or mythology it often stands for or is a symbol of immortality.
But red is one of the most visually dominant colors. Many companies use red in their logos to produce excitement, to be bold and to stand out, to be youthful. Think of all the large chain stores that have red as their primary logo color – Target, Coke, Costco, McDonald’s, Campbell’s Soup, Skittles – just to name a few.
